I think this is one of my favorite pictures of Syria and I. She is the daughter of my next door neighbor and we are at our Festa for the Dia de professores.

The kid on the left brought these pants back to school after holidays...I even swim in them...so they put two of themselves in the pants and there is probably room for more...Do I hear a costume of Humpty Dumpty????
I am turning Mozambican and balancing anything and everything on my head.

Our "sexy walk" night. This is a boy dressed as a girl for the catwalk. Love it!

It rained hard, actually stormed the night before. So, what do my students do. They have boat races!

Making our own coconut milk. This is Julie, my site mate who lives in the city of Mabote.

I am very proud cause I actually made this dress myself with no pattern. Just saw a picture and decided to try and make it. Starting my own Project Runway with my students next year!
My basketball team and I stretching and getting ready for our game!

And this is my basketball team... I made Julie be the ref for the game cause

I sure as hell didn't want to do the job!

This is one of the spots we can get bars for phones at school...also known as the "cool hangout"

Translating a letter into Portuguese for Julia and Shannon and all the things they brought for the hospitals here.

On top of the tower...we danced on top...and I don't think I am allowed on top anymore!
